Kathua, Bari Brahmana unit holders meet CM | KNO

Dudu Basantgarh, Gaddi, Sippi deputations also meet Mehbooba, seek redressal of their grievances

JAMMU, JANUARY 16 (KNO) : A deputation of representatives of Bari Brahmana and Kathua Industries Associations called on the Chief Minister, Mehbooba Mufti here today. The deputation thanked the Chief Minister of taking many industry friendly steps which, they said, would result in growth, employability and more intense economic activity in the State. The deputation invited the Chief Minister to visit their industrial areas to encourage the unit holders. They put many of their demands with the Chief Minister and sought their redressal. Meanwhile, a deputation of people from far flung Dudu-Basantgarh area led by MLA, Ramnagar, R S Pathania also met the Chief Minister and brought their difficulties into her notice. The deputation sought upgradation of roads, setting up of a degree college and strengthening the health infrastructure in the area. They also demanded setting up of a tribal village in the area. Another deputation of people from Gaddi and Sippi communities led by MLA, Jeevan Lal also met Mehbooba Mufti and apprised her of many of their issues, particularly pertaining to reservations. The Chief Minister assured the deputations that she would look into the issues raised by them and get them redressed in a specific timeline.(KNO)
